At Little Rascals Cat Sanctuary, we’ve hit a bump in the road that we never expected. Our furnace, which was part of the original building, has broken down and can’t be repaired. When we walked into the sanctuary the other morning, the temperature had dropped to a chilly 54 degrees—way too cold for our furry residents! The only option was to replace the furnace, which came with a hefty $4,600 price tag!
This unexpected expense is especially difficult as we’ve been stretched thin after rescuing 13 cats from a hoarding situation in Manistee just a few months back. While we always strive to provide a safe, warm, and loving home for all our cats, this sudden cost has put us in a tough spot.
As a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on donations from compassionate supporters like you. We receive no government funding, and every dollar goes directly to providing shelter, medical care, food, and comfort for the cats in our care. We simply couldn’t do it without you!
